COMET CLASSICS PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP
We are pleased to once again be hosting the Pride of Ownership at this year's Classic Motorbike Show. A fantastic mix of motorcycles and bikes, including rare road and racing bikes, will once again be on display to battle for the "best in show" title.
At the Classic Motorbike Show 2017, bikes ranging from the early 1920's BSA's through to a 1986 RD350 YPVS competed. With a mixture of 1950's and 60's Triumph Nonnevilles, a Norton Jawa, and Excelsior and two James bikes from the early 50's. Yamaha, Honda and Kwasaki were also represented in the competition at the show. The Comet Classics Pride of Ownership was won by Alan Stopford with the 1959 Triumph Bonvielle, with second place to Dale Hart in the 1986 RD350 and third place to John Cook for the Hudson Autocycle.
COMET CLASSICS PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP - APPLICATION
The Classic Motorbike Show is pleased to announce the annual ‘Comet Classics Pride of Ownership’ contest is open to private owners of bikes from 1990 or older. We’re making it much simpler for classic motorbike owners to take part in our Comet Classics Pride of Ownership competition. Rather than all different classes, we just want to know who is the best in show. Each of the entrants chosen to appear at the show will receive two show passes and a certificate. Our judging panel will then pick the two runners up and the overall winner who will receive a trophy and the bragging rights to call themselves the best bike in show.
To enter please send at least two images of your motorcycle to email@example.com. Closing date for entries is October 2017.
Comet Classics was born out of two friend's enthusiasm for classic & vintage motorcycle and petrol pumps. Between them, Martin Webb and Ray Waller have over 80 years of automotive and motorcycle experience. What started as a private collection is now a three-year-old business with over 100 classics motorcycles and petrol pumps in stock. Many are appreciating classics and all represent excellent value for money. For more information visit www.cometclassics.co.uk
