Silverstone Auctions returns to the Classic Motorbike Show with one of the most high profile classic car auctions in the UK. Once again more than 100 classic cars, modern sports cars, historic motorbikes, luxury watches and automobilia will go under the hammer over two days on Saturday and Sunday November.
Last years sale was an outstanding success as Silverstone Auctions saw £3.6million change hands, with 67% of the lots sold.
The biggest battle of the weekend was between the Wheelers Dealers Mike Brewer and Ant Anstead as their #ClassicRumble came to a head in the Lancaster Insurance Charity Build Off. With the Ford Escort XR3i convertable (Mike's) and a 1950s inspired single-seater race car (Ant's) up for grabs, the tense auction ended on a high with boht cars selling for £22,500 including premium. All money raised went towards Mike and Ant's chosen charities - The Marie Crawford Boyd Foundation and Harrison's Fund.
